1991-92 Stadium Club #55 Ulf Dahlen

The inaugural Topps Stadium Club set - initially ushered in with its baseball issue - was hyped as the first "premium" sports card set.  Packs cost a whopping $3 each.  They were given a full glossy treatment, with gold foil trim.  Mostly, the sharp action shots were poised to give Upper Deck a run for their money.

Well... not always.

1991-92 Stadium Club #322 Marc Bureau

Marc Bureau was a great defensive center, and his play in the 1991 playoffs was remarkable.  I was always bothered that the North Stars didn't give him a longer look.  He certainly proved them wrong with a long, solid NHL career.
